Questions
What do I need?
An x86-64 server with Ubuntu 24.04 and network cards for your uplink and your OLTs. The hardware page lists what we use.
Is there a limit on subscribers?
No. The price is the same however many clients you have and however much traffic they make.
What does "always the latest version" mean?
New versions reach your router as they are released, tested on our lab first. You never pay for an upgrade.
Which OLTs are supported?
Huawei OLTs (MA5600T / MA5608T family) today, over SNMP. More vendors are on the way — ask us about yours.
Do I still need a network administrator?
For the daily work, far less: provisioning, changes and monitoring run through your billing and the router itself, and our engineers support it. Your team handles the clients and the fiber in the field.
Can I keep my billing system?
Yes. The router has a REST API and a MikroTik-compatible API, so most billing systems work with it as they are.
How is the licence handled?
Each router holds a licence bound to its machine, renewed automatically every day while the support is active.
